Drove by yesterday and they appeared open but can't find menu, web page or even phone number to call them. Anyone have the scoop on this new Mexican restaurant?

Picked up takeout here last night. The place looks great! Has a small bar with maybe 5 seats and a number of booths with Mexican-themed woodwork. My wife had a spinach burrito which had a nice cheese sauce but lacked spice. I had the Carne Asada which was nicely prepared but featured excessive fat. It was good enough that we'll try it again but probably not that soon.

After striking out last Friday night finding a table at some of the local haunts (the Breeze, Ellacoya, Patricks, and Cactus Jack's, we decided to give El Tequila a shot. It was a concert night at Meadowbrook so everyone was slammed.
We walked right in, they were far from busy. I was extremely surprised at how good the food and drinks were! Our meals were spot on. Even the takeout we took home to the kids was perfect. Our margaritas were not regular menu ones, but concoctions we usually get at Margaritas in Dover so they had to wing it and did great there as well. Definitely on the list. |
