Default Pedal Boat

Does anyone know where one might purchase a pedal boat. They seem very hard to find, even online. Thanks.

Default Pedal boat

You might ask Dive Winnipesaukee (569-8080). They seem to be pretty well connected to the water sports world, and if they can't get it for you, maybe they can give you a lead to someplace that can.

Default Craigslist

Craigslist has a sundolphin pedal boat for sale in Danville VT for $250. For that price, worth renting a truck, if needed to pick it up. Posted today

Red face Girlfriend Wanted It...

I sold one a couple of years ago.

The buyer picked it up at the dock and carried up our steep hill to his car.

Every pedal boat I've ever seen has sat way longer than it's ever been used, and that includes rentals.

There is one such at my association—if I can find info on it, I'll post it here.

Bought one a couple of years ago ( Sun Dolphin) from Walmart online, drop shipped, with free shipping.

We bought one two years ago.....forget the name of the business but it's right on Court st in Laconia.
It actually gets a lot of use …..especially since I cheated and installed a trolling motor & deep cycle battery. We do use the pedals but it's nice to have option of just cruising

Not cheating. Old adage: "Work" smarter, not harder. As you said, it can be nice to just cruise.

Standard plastic pedal boats are like trying to drive a bathtub...I bought one for my daughters some years ago when they rented a lakeside cottage in Massachusetts. Sure it was fun and a way to get them on the lake...
If I were to be in the market nowadays, I would look into the ones built like a mini aluminum pontoon boat! More pricey but a lifetime investment!

“Paddle King” and “Aqua Cycle” are but a couple of brands out there.

The only practical pedal boats that I know of are kayaks made by Hobie.

We have a Seacycle that we enjoy a lot. We got the option for a second pedaling seat so we can go out together. It’s very stable in rough water, and the drive section tips up if you hit a rock. Worst problem is clearing weeds from the prop. We put a platform across the back for our dog, who loves to come with us.
