Default A Beautiful Weekend for some Wetbikeing.....

From Saturday, Wanted to get every bit out of my registration for 2012 before i have to get another sticker.... And i wanted to snowboard and Jetski in one day

Ya I was thinking the same thing when I watched the video.

Also glad to see that you were prepared, wet suit and life jacket.
Although I would have worn a dry suit.

11mm of wetsuit on core, 8 on upper extremities, 3 on lower..... I could have been in the water for a few hours.....

and i had people standing by watching in case something went wrong.

Barely noticed the cold. face was a bit cold in the air, and thats it.

Wetbiker: question: Do wetbikes have a kill switch like jetski's do? If not, what would happen if you fell off while riding? thanks

They do, along with a "dead mans throttle" whish means that once released the engine dies.

and if both of those fails and the throttle gets stuck open?..... well then the wetbike will do a wheelie in circles around you.... and yes i've had that happen a few times.

Many many years ago a group of us decided to ride the channel on our standups well after ice in. We lasted about 15 minutes....completely nuts...welcome to the club. :-)

Well, if any day would justify the 40 dollar sticker, that would have been the day.

It gets expensive with the increased price. 40$ per jetski, and i may go through 10 different hulls/ski's in a year.....between all the different types.... buying and selling.
