Is the Wolfeboro canoe/kayak race still on?

Does anybody know if the annual Wolfeboro canoe/kayak race is still on for Saturday? With the water flowing as fast as it is there should be some record times if they have it.

I've just learned that the canoe/kayak race is a GO for this week-end BUT it will be conducted entirely on Lake Wentworth due to the hazardous conditions in the Smith River. Follow this link for more details as they become available.
