An easy way to get the form is from the Bizer site:

http://www.bizer.com/gasref.pdf

Good luck

This is what is wrong with this country. All this documentation and certifying under penalty that you have the paperwork to support your purchase but you can only limit it to $TEN DOLLARS REFUND.
IF YOU READ THE JOURNAL YOU CAN READ ABOUT THE MILLIONS OF DOLLARS THE CEO INSIDERS HAVE BEEN MAKING BY PURCHASING THEIR COMPANY STOCK IN ADVANCE OF LETTING THE PUBLIC KNOW ABOUT THE BAD FINANCIAL NEWS THEY RELEASE RIGHT AFTER THEY SELL THEIR STOCK.
YES THEY HAVE TO MAKE OUT A SPECIAL FORM TO BE LEGAL BUT THEY CAN ORIGINATE IT, CHANGE IT OR DO ANYTHING THEY WANT BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE TO PUBLISH IT OR TELL ANYBODY ABOUT IT.
ANOTHER WALL ST SCAM.
And we worry about supporting and being honest about $10.00.

The minimum you can claim is $10. There's no upper limit.

Default I knew it was not capped at $10

I got my new boat so that I could buy more gas and get a higher refund than I did with the old boat....at least that was one point I made to the Mrs. when we talked about getting the boat. Yes, dear, it will use more gas, but look at the bright side...we get a larger refund at the end of the year.

It sounded so good coming off my lips...not as much going into her ears.

Still got the boat!!!!! (might have had something to do with the porta-potti)

I just saw this discussion. Is it too late for me to chime in with some uninformed outrage?

Phantom, I've always thought it was better to get the form straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak; you never know when they might change/update it. I always get mine from the State of NH website (www.nh.gov); that eliminates guessing whether you have the current form or not.

Since no one else has mentioned it, here's where the state hides the form. You can either navigate to it the long way (www.nh.gov / Government / State Government / State Agencies (alphabetical list) / Safety, Dept. of / Road Toll Bureau / Documents and Forms / Form RT-123 [Off Highway Recreational Vehicles, Snowmobiles, Boats]) which will help you remember how to find it next year.....OR..... you can follow this link directly to the form, http://www.nh.gov/safety/divisions/a...ents/RT123.pdf.

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and happy refunding!!

Don't forget most marinas will help you with this. Mountain View keeps all my gas recipts and every winter they send me them with a copy of the form. I fill out the form and attached the receipts. Just ask them next season.

Default Read the fine print!

They will not accept this year's gas rebate if you send it in this year. Wait till after the new year before sending them in.

Default Gas Rebate

I spoke with a woman at the phone # listed on the form about 3 weeks ago. She said there is no problem in sending the rebate form in before the end of the year.

Last year I sent mine in before the end of the year and they sent it back to me. It probably would have been too much trouble to keep the early ones in a pile and process them after the first of the year. Better to spend money on postage, envelopes and labor than keep them.

Could government run any more efficiently?

got a question on this one?
I did pull it from the mail the other day so it did not go out, but was going to mail it tomorrow/wednesday

problem that I possibly see is that when I signed it, I dated it with 12/27/12
will they send it back to me?
I do not want to white it out and put a new date because then I could be altering the form

yeah I know all this worry over about 20 bucks

Default Total piece of mind found here:

Open the envelope, thereby wasting 44 cents.

Print new form and copy info on the form dated 12-27-2012.

Date and sign new form 1-1-2013 or later

New envelope and postage.

Clear conscience and it only cost you a little time and the additional postage.

At Minge Cove Marina we keep your slips, fill out the form for you and mail it to you at the end of the year. All you have to do is sign it and enclose the receipts in the self addressed envelope to the State. Come visit us this summer!
