Default Bald Eagle in Alton

I got two nice surprises while checking my webcam this morning. First was that the ice was out of our cove (it was still socked in last night). The second is that unless one of you bird experts wants to burst my bubble, I think I captured a few images of a bald eagle on my dock and then one of it in the air. Picture quality is poor because I was just capturing screen shots of my webcam picture on my computer but it seems to me that it is a bald eagle based on size and coloring. We had not seen one in our part of the lake before (SE side in Alton).

You can bet your bottom it's an eagle mostly looking for fish for it's meal.
If you haven't viewed this site with the 3 baby chicks that were born on 4/2, 4/3 and 4/6 go check it out for a LIVE fun web cam.
