Default Local Eatery opens Local Provisions in Laconia!

Just got a Facebook notice that Local Eatery Chef Kevin is opening up Local Provisions just around the corner at 622 Main St next to the Wayfarer coffee shop.

Opening day is Sat. July 2. Good luck Chef Kevin!

Wow what were they thinking? At those prices they will never put Hannafords or Walmart out of business! (I paid $3.49 for burger and $1.69 for chicken on sale at Hannys last week!) But if thats their business model good for them...

But seriously I have not been in the store yet and would be more interested in how they compare cost and quality wise to Wine'ing or other similar delis if anyone can offer constructive reviews.

Ps. I have no affiliation with this venue or any other at all but as a resident I just want to see downtown Laconia flourish...

The meats at Local are levels above Hannafords or The Wining Butcher, as far as quality is concerned. Local is selling locally raised meats. No hormones, grass fed beef, free range chicken etc..If you go to Hannaford for example and buy some grass fed ground beef, it's $9.99/lb. $8/lb is actually a great price!

Default Great Place!

Went there this past weekend and picked up a bunch of stuff including two beautiful porterhouse steaks, Italian sausage and scallops. Everything was awesome! The steaks were fantastic way above anything you would get anywhere else in the area. Cut to order and yeah, it’s not cheap but nothing good is these days!

We will be back!

Dan

The quality of the food that Kevin serves at the Local Eatery and the items at Local Provisions are absolutely outstanding.
