That's the old Police motorcycle museum location that has been talked about in other threads .

Default Phantom you are right!

It looks like a pretty major upgrade is in progress on the old museum too. Will be great to have a new spot!!

I’m with you. I would love a local bourbon distillery with a nice restaurant attached.

Have never been there and not a bourbon aficionado, but a good friend who is in the wholesale booze business in NYC claims it is worth a visit....

Earlier this week Leslie and I submitted an application to the Laconia zoning board for a variance that will allow the development of a small batch nano distillery to enhance tavern 27 here at the Mystic Meadows. The hearing is on April 15.

Thank you joey2665, A consultant told me that the best thing I could do is to get as many Latonia residence/taxpayers as possible to submit (either in writing or in person) positive statements about our impact on the community to date.

If I can’t make I will write a letter. Who should it be addressed and mailed to?

Default Twin Barns Brewing!

Not local, but Berkshire Mountain Distillers in Sheffield, MA make some great spirits. I love their corn whiskey.

For those of you in Boston, check out Boston Harbor Distillery, making some terrific whiskeys, rum, coffee liqueur and a delicious cream liqueur.

It still looks like they have a lot of work to do. I hope they have it open by motorcycle week, I have a good crowd of beer drinkers coming up.

I follow their Facebook page and they said there they're aiming for a mid-June opening.

They also had a poll up just recently to finalize their blonde beer's name, and it looks like it'll be Sandbar Blonde by a mile.

Did they mention an opening date yet?

I see they have been brewing so I'm thinking it's close, and being open for Bike Week would be a good jump start I would think.
