Default Gluten Free

We have visitors coming in next week and one of the guests needs to be gluten free.

They want to boat somewhere and grab dinner one night and I was wondering if anyone knew of a good lake front restaurant that had gluten free choices on their menu. It is not something I have ever paid attention to and now need to become aware.

Thanks.

This is an interesting question... My wife has celiac disease, and has to eat gluten Free.... I would check with the Common Man Restaurants in Meredeth....or with the Canoe Restaurant in Center Harbor.....

Please let me know what you find out... We haven't been out for Dinner Since she was diagnosed, when we have been at the lake......

We have however found many places accommodating away from the lake, you just have to ask......

Check out the Common Man family of restaurants. We dined with friends the past two weekends, one with a gluten allergy, and both the original Common Man in Ashland and the Italian Farmhouse in Plymouth offered gluten free menus. So you might want to check out Town Docks, Camp and Lago in Meredith.

Default Guiseppe's

Guiseppe's in Meredith has a great gluten free pizza. A few weeks ago, they also had Angry Orchard, a gluten free hard cider (yum!). Each time I've been, they have been very accommodating of our (many) allergies.

Default JP China

I was really surprised to learn that JP China, in Alton Bay, now has a great gluten-free menu. The owner has switched to a soy sauce even that is also gluten-free - nice bonus. Anyhow, I can't see a link for it on their website, but they have menus in the restaurant with g-free selections and of course they have take-out.

It's not on the water, but Tavern27 advertises a diverse GF menu. Plus their food and atmosphere are great.

We went to a terrific cafe in Meredith this summer called Kara's. My sandwich was gluten free, and the bread was amazing. We loved that place. Great coffee and drink choices, too.
