Default Aluminum Decking

Has anyone used aluminum decking on this form? Everything sounds great about the product but my concerns are about using a plastic shovel on it or a snowblower on it. The company is from AL so they are not used to getting snow on their decks and clearing them with a snowblower. Anyone have any experience with this product?

Most aluminum decking I have seen has a coating applied to the top. I would assume it would be pretty easy to scratch that up with a snowblower. Plastic shovel maybe not.
