Default Where have all the Sunrise and Sunset pics gone?

Have not been seeing Sunset Bob posting any great pictures lately. So here is this mornings Sunrise at Mirror Lake in Tuftonboro. There were 4 Beavers doing an early morning swim. Probably stocking up on trees and branches...

I sent this in to Ulocal on WMUR. let me know if they use it....

Also took this one on Wolfeboro Bay this morning near the town docks. It was pretty foggy.

I call this one Foggy Fishing....

Default Great pictures

As one who lives "away", I really like the varied glimpses of home that you give with your pictures. Thanks very much.

The Foggy Fishing one is something! They must have had to navigate to that spot VERY carefully!

Default Morning Photos

Your photos are simply breathtaking. To have captured the first light of day in such a way is a gift in fine photography. You certainly have an eye for composition and your settings are just perfect. It is the best thing to actually being there. Thanks so much for posting them. Will be keeping an eye out for them on WMUR. They are the best.

I like that spot as I can pull over and take a picture right from my drivers seat.
I took this one last year at about the same time. Something about the air this time of year lends itself to nice sunrise photos...
Almost the same angle....

Default Sunrise ... Sunset ...

Yup, I knew that. Just a slip of the tongue (or fingers). Still a great shot, no matter what the time of day.

No idea. But you can right click on them and paste in the address bar of the web browser. It will take you to the photobucket location.
Not sure why you can't see them though...

Not a real spectacular sunset last evening but it was a very pleasant afternoon and evening on the island.

Default Sunset shots....

Had these in my camera. Taken off the Suissevale Beach, looking toward Moultonborough neck. Just past sunset.
Basically if you take the first and add it to the second you get a panorama. I don't know how to do it in one picture. I'm not that computer savy with photo software....Yet....

In order to stitch or combine photos to make a panorama you normally need overlap in the photos, sometimes as much as 50%. Also the photos should be taken in quick succession with no movement of the camera except for the pan. The photo stitching algorithm needs the overlap in order to combine the adjacent frames.
Take a few test frames and if your software has that feature, give it a try.

I could not get them to photomerge too much space in-between I think. But I did mess with one a bit. They are great shots.
