They all seem to have large increases. I received a large increase from Akwa Marina. Ugh

If that is occurring all around, it will be interesting to see what the impact will be on related markets, sale prices, rental fees, new boaters coming into the market, etc.

Doesn't seem to matter what prices do there always seems to be somebody willing to pay the price when others are not.

Default Slips/akwa

There are waiting lists all over the lake at marinas. People are saying on social media sites, BOW, IBOLW they are looking for slips but can't find one due to marinas being full. Rent is rising for slips and people are paying them. People are buying slips because they can not find a rental slip. Doesn't sound like Akwa will have any issue filling all the slips. I would be surprised if they have any opens ones right now.

4 years ago I was paying 2500 now I am paying double. It did not pay back then to buy a slip for 75-80k but now it is making more sense.

Default Slips

After the bubble of 2008 marinas were never full and rents dropped considerably from the earlier 2000's. We are back to pre-2008 with a vengeance. I purchased 20 years ago and could quadruple what I paid.
