“Nobody knew there would be a pandemic or epidemic of this proportion.” - Donald Trump March 2020

Except this investigative reporter in The Atlantic. But maybe he was the only one, right?

Trump’s tendency to tweet rashly, delegitimize legitimate sources of information, and readily buy into conspiracy theories could be disastrous.

Senator Tom Cotton (R, AR) was sounding the alarm pretty early on (January?) bit not many were listening.

What was going on in Washington during this time?? Oh... that's right, Democrats continuing their attack on the American peoples choice for President. I'm thoroughly disgusted with them...

Do you think that if the impeachment trial was not going on that President Trump and/or the administration would have been more in tune with the potential for a pandemic and acted differently? I realize this is both a very hypothetical question and not a yes or no question.

My belief, based on past actions and decisions, is that we would be in the same position regardless of the impeachment trial or anything else that was happening in the nation.

Default Keep the politics out, please!

You can all tell me to stuff it if you want, but my opinion is that turning this Coronavirus tragedy into a let’s dump on Trump party is beyond unnecessary at best and really deranged. People are suffering! Please stop with the blame game and be adults. Thank you. End of rant.

It’s a perfectly valid opinion to hold, but it should hold true equally for the “defend trump against all realities” crew.

There are still people out there and in here that deny the reality of the situation, and that is dangerous based on gut feelings, opinions and political persuasions instead of facts. So while it may be annoying to some, I will continue to call out Trump, his response and what I continue to be the potentially harmful opinions of others.
