Default 150' at Marine Patrol

If I remember, there used to be markers showing what 150' looked like. Took my son over so he could get an idea of distance, and all I saw were 2 no wake buoys. They didn't seem 150' apart and didn't seem 150' from shore. I thought the markers used to be green topped or something like that. Or am I dreaming this.....

The no wake marker off Wolfeboro town docks is supposed to be 150’ from the docks; perhaps use that as an example.

Default Seeing Double

The no wake buoy nearest the southeast shore of Glendale Harbor is 150 feet from the Marine Patrol docks (not the shoreline). The NW buoy in the middle of the harbor is in its correct location. The red top buoy just west of this buoy is still missing. 🐻

That rings a bell to me. Isn't 75ft the normal/max length for a tow rope?

Default Ah, I see the problem...

I see the problem. People look at the length of rows used on some wakeboard boats, and say ok two lengths of that rope is 150 ft.

Well, maybe?
