Cat Veterinarian (DVM) needed for cat
We're looking for recommendations for a great cat Doctor in the Lakes Region. Especially one that is experienced in dental cleanings and surgery if needed. We are just west of Meredith. Thanks.

I have no experience with bringing a pet here.
Meadow pond animal hospital Moultonboro. Maybe someone has taken their pet there and could offer first hand info. Good luck. |

We take our dogs to Interlakes On Rt 3 in Meredith (near the rotary). I've been very very happy with their care. Reasonably priced too!

Cat Vet
Dr Roy Ball of Manchester Animal Hospital is well known for his feline care. Manchester is a long shot, but I call ahead to have everything done in one day.
Gives me an excuse to discover ManchVegas!

If you don't mind coming down to the seacoast for a cat specialist, the Cat Doctor is in Dover on Watson Road, just minutes from exit 9.

Meadow Pond is great! We have been taking our cat Jezzie there since they opened in 2003. Jezzie is now 18 years old. Kelly and Lindy care so very much about the pets that come into their office. I would not hesitate at all in bringing any pet to Meadow Pond.

Don't forget the Vet ER, they are open nights and weekends for your pet emergency (when your regular vet is closed). I've used them several times, and you can't ask for better.

Dr. Jonna Fulton
603-524-8387
1266 Union Avenue Laconia, NH 03246 We live in Gilford, and have taken our cat (really baby, but we all assume that) to the Gilford branch. We always felt pressured into pulling all our cats teeth. After an emergency (removal of sewing needle from the stomach) our hearts lie with Dr. Fulton. She is honest, caring and goes above and beyond . . . as well as not wanting to remove all our cats teeth. If you are looking for tooth replacement procedures, the only place worthy is in MA. Good luck!

Meadow Pond
Great suggestions everyone - especially about knowing the emergency vet in Meredith - but we love Meadow Pond. They are great, they are compassionate, knowledgeable, everything. Many years ago, a friend of ours-their dog was dying of cancer. Near the end, our friend called Meadow Pond-who said, we will be right there. Do not stress the dog by bringing him here. Both Kelly and Lyndie went to our friend's house and helped his dog over the bridge. They stayed with him a while, and removed the dog's body. Since they knew our friend's family was in China at the time, they called him later that day and said "we don't think you should be all alone right now." So, around dinner time Kelly and Lyndie showed up at his house out on Moultonboro neck, with wine and dinner. They stayed, cooked dinner, and provided comfort to a man who was heartbroken. I was stunned when he told me this story. That is when we switched vets and moved to Meadow Pond. Good luck on your choice.
