Yes mink, cute like otters but way too small. Lots of mink around the lake.

Was thinking mink, but the one on left totally has an otter face

That's what I thought as well. When I looked up a picture of a mink, I definitely thought that the one on the left looked more like an otter. It appeared to be a mother with two babies, which may account for the smaller size of the two on the right.

It was in Meredith.

I can tell you one thing; they are either all Mink or all Otters. Otters and Mink do not get along at all.
