About 2 years I got rid of the VIP package and signed up for just internet at 50 Mbps. That has been enough for YouTube TV and whatever else we do.

In early Dec I received the following from ABB:

We've invested in our network to give you the speed boost you deserve. Your upgraded Internet speed will handle all of your needs this holiday season and beyond. Your business is important to us and we wanted to show you how much we appreciate your loyalty.

You should now be up and running with your new speed, and no action is needed. Enjoy your boost to 250 Mbps.

Our current service is 255 Mbps down and 20 Mbps up and "so far" the price has not gone up. The $63.24 Jan bill was the same as in Dec. Will wait and see.
At this point we are pretty happy with the bump in service.
