Default Sentry Duty

Quietly walking through the woods in search of birds, I came upon this young buck who was less than 20 yards from me when I spotted him. I got off a few shots before he sounded the alarm which sent the rest (I counted 5 others) off in a split second. All I saw after that was a bunch of white tails bounding off. There was a very nice buck bedded down within the rest of the group.

Red face A Different Kind of Sentry-Duty...

Airedale's photos sure beat my "out-of-focus" deer noses!

Might be "out-of-focus" but still a great picture.
