Smile How Lucky We Are

Today, while listening to the soundtrack of "ON GOLDEN POND"-- I scanned through some of the wonderful pictures on this forum. I hope everyone realizes what a blessing and gift the contributors of these photos to this website are. You are all thoughtfull, talented, and most of all LOYAL to all of us on the forum. There is nothing like it anywhere! Lake Winnepesauki holds memories for me that date to my " teen " years. Now retired, I regret only one thing-that I don't live near or on the "Great Spirit Lake"

Thank you all for helping remember those " Golden " times. God bless you all. Hope to see you this summer!

I'm also a huge fan of the pics section and thanks to all our photogs'. I would love to know where to get the movie soundtrack too. Sometimes I replay the beggining a few times, because I love the music. Very relaxing on a warm day with the windows open.....

Here's what's printed on a 1982 tape cassette of "On Golden Pond" : Side 1 - "On Golden Pond"- Main Theme - First Call (Norman) - Career Opportunities/Back Porch Confessional (Norman & Ethel)- Illicit Sex Question (Norman & Bill Ray) - New Hampshire Hornpipe

Side 2 - Lake Song - Early Bird (Ethel & Chelsea) - Purgatory Cove (Norman & Billy) -Father - Daughter Relationship (Chelsea & Norman) - Season's End (Ethel & Norman) - 'On Golden Pond" Epilogue

Found it last year at St Vincent dePaul's in Laconia next to McDonald's for fifty cents in like new condition....a lucky find!

At one time I had the soundtrack on vinyl. Now I have found pieces of it on I-Tunes. The "Theme" song and "New Hampshire Hornpipe" specifically. Maybe more will find their way into the library at some point.
