How busy is it this year at the lake?
With things opening up again I suspect people have been chomping at the bit to travel, and the lake is a great destination.
How are the tourism numbers shaping up so far this year? Are there many vacancies for rentals? Is the Weirs filled with visitors? Is traffic pretty congested?

I could be wrong - but from Belmont to Meredith seems about the same as it was last summer... other than it seems a bit cooler and wetter.
I think most of the local businesses adapted rather well to the changing variables in their businesses. |

It's been strange recently because I've found that all the restaurants have lines out front of them on Friday nights but there seems to be a little less of a crowd on Saturday nights.

Maybe weekenders on a Friday that just got in and don't wish to shop and prepare food, while on Saturday at the cottage relaxing... maybe even a cookout.
With those additional diners, I would suspect a line. |
