https://archive.is/dXIIV ....... no subscription needed link to Washington Post article on Sturgis Motorcycle Week and spreading the coronavirus through the mid-west.

Nothing like this mid-west spread seems to have happened here in New Hampshire with the very modified 2020 Laconia bike week. Allowing cars to park in the usual Lakeside Ave, one dollar parking spaces, made it look like any other regular day as opposed to a crowded and super busy, happening bike week.

It was like the bike week that never happened, and similarly was never a C-19 spreader event what with everyone there required to be wearing a face mask. "Wear a face mask, or go to jail" was the rule in NYC and maybe in Boston too, in the 1918-pandemic.

www.sturgis-sd.gov/webcams-in-and-around-sturgis ...... it's live from Main St, Sturgis, South Dakota; three town webcams. If you look real close at these web cams, you can still see some of those left-over C-19 virus germs hovering in the thin, dry, low humidity South Dakota air. The C-19 thrives in dry air, is what they say.

Installing similar web-cams is what Laconia needs to be doing with their Laconia Main St, Colonial Theatre re-vitalization, as well as their Lakeport Opera House restoration, and present a web-cam view looking up and down the road at these two new theatre and opera house venues ..... to help create some "buzz" for these Laconia go-to entertainment businesses.
