Default Sad Story

This is a very sad story about a local lakes region resident and business owner. My company has done a lot of work with Dan over the years and he will be sorely missed.

RIP....

Dan

Default High School Classmate

and a devote ski buddy. He volunteered countless of hours in the youth racing development at Gunstock. Easy going and always manage a smile, even in difficult situations. His glass arts are a beauty to behold.

Even though it is an unfortunate event, I envy those who died with their boots on. Past Laconians who did so Kent Yale, Olympian and Harold Wescott, founder of the Masters race league have died doing what they love, ski racing.

As his sister, Peggy says, he had to leave in typical DW style!

Rest in Peace Dan, I will miss my chair buddy!

I didn't know him, but sounds like a great guy. As sad as this is and as hard as it has to be on his family, he went doing something he loved, talk about living life to its fullest until the end, may he rest in peace.
