WMUR says Alton on July 3rd at 915 PM, Alton Website says 920 PM, which is what they have listed it as in past years. At least, telling you slightly early means if you are on time for it, you will be on time for the fireworks.

Default any suggestions?

Where do you recommend I take the kids? We go to Center Harbor every year because it is so close to our house, but they aren't the best. I remember going to Ashland as a kid and them being good, but I've heard they haven't been as good in recent years.

Not sure who told you that but they are as good as they ever were. They're grand finale last a good 5-7 minutes.Get there early as its hard to find parking. Alex Ray the owner of The Comman Man's makes a huge donation and I'm sure that's why they are so good.

Ctr I think puts on a really good show on the 4th (much better by boat) and Ashland is on the 5th so you can go to both

GTO....Is the bay really packed with boats? We just got a boat last year and were thinking of watching them by boat this year but are worried it will be really crowded and hard to maneuver.

Default Lake Fireworks

A few years ago we began to sit off of Varney Point by boat and then just out beyond Welch island. We have found we can see several fireworks shows but also get to observe the shows on show from homes. Of course it depends on the weather and comfort level being on the lake at this time. Hope all have a happy and safe 4th

Default Meredith Fireworks

Where is the best place to park for the Meredith Fireworks??
Does Hannaford allow parking in that lot? or what about Meredith Village Savings Bank's back lot? or the lot at Mill's Falls?

Can anyone confirm that Weirs Beach will have fireworks? I know they traditionally have them at midnight on July 3rd.

We usually go all the way to the end on the left and raft with a few friends. We get there early and then hang around until just about everybody is gone. Trying to get out the narrow channel can be rough, especially with Marine Patrol strobe light blinding you. Take your time leaving, there's no rush (plus, they usually find a few shells that didn't go off and they light them after)

Hi all, I've gone to Ctr Harbor by boat for the fireworks a few times. It is a good time and it is not too had getting in and out, as long as you are careful. Does anyone know if you can see the fireworks from the Moultonborough Bay or Melvin Bay Area? I want to go in the boat to watch but I'm not sure I want to go all the way to Ctr Harbor this year. Advice?
