Any idea what this little creature is?
This fellow visited me in the wee hours. Any idea what it is? Mink? Fisher cat?
Picture isn't that clear but I couldn't figure out how to upload a brief mp4 video. |

It’s a house cat, departing the deck.

OK then, it’s a long, low house cat.

Fishers are very dark. Looks like a house cat to me too. Cats can crouch low when hunting...

I agree
I agree, I have a calico cat that walks that way often. She slinks along an inch or two off the floor.

Weasel is a great guess but the tail looks too long. I'll go with the prowling house cat also. |

House cat wins
Well it turned up in the daytime today and it is indeed a very long, low slinking house cat that I've never seen around before. Occam's Razor ... should have know.

I, too, have been unsuccessful at uploading an mp4 video.
Any suggestions? |
