Default Information on past weather-where to look?

Hi All,

I need to examine weather specific to Winnipesaukee at various points in time in the past; I have been told to go to Laconia Public Library as my first source which I will do.

Does anyone have additional suggestions about sources of information-perhaps online, that will tell me wind speed, wind direction, and temperature for specific days?

I need to go back as far as 15 years+-.

Thanks.

I would start by poking around the NOAA web site.

NOAA directed me here:
http://cdo.ncdc.noaa.gov/ulcd/ULCD?prior=Y

Nothing going back as far as I need to thru that link but may be useful in the future.

Senter Cove Guy gave me:
http://www.wunderground.com/history

This site was really useful as it pertains to what I am looking for for data.

The Weather Underground site is very good. However, some of its locations do not represent the official records for that location. For example, most of the data for the lakes region point to the Laconia airport. The records for Laconia are not what you would call "reliable", especially the precipitation records. Just so you know.
