Vinyl Siding
Does anyone have any recommendations for installing vinyl siding? I would also appreciate if anyone would be willing to message me or share approximately what you paid and how large the space was and how basic or high end the siding was. We are considering purchasing a home that we would like to install siding on but the first quote was significantly higher than we were expecting.

We live in a 1750 sq ft house with a 2 car garage and we were quoted around $23,000 for the shake kind of siding. That was more than I was expecting. Sent from my iPhone using Winnipesaukee Forum mobile app |

Agree the prices will vary depending on the type you use. Can be a 2x factor

Don't forget for what it's worth you won't be painting it maybe every 5 or so (??) years at what maybe $5,000 - $10,000 each time depending on the preparation work (sanding) you have done. Although there are some decent paints out there today your mileage may vary.
