Default Forum Fest 2014- Planning

Hi All,
We are a little more than a week away from Forum Fest 2014 and I'd like to start organizing things a bit.

Details of the event are on the sticky in the General Discussion.

I think we should plan for 30-40 people.

I will provide plates, napkins and plastic utensils. I will also provide ice tubs for drinks.

There will be several long tables to put food on as well as electrical outlets for crock pots.

If you plan on coming, let us know what you are bringing so attendees can plan accordingly.

My wife will bring:

Plastic tablecloths
Plastic cups
Small centerpieces
Non alcoholic drinks(water, sparkling water, lemonade & iced tea)

How many tables are there total (food tables and picnic tables)?
Any color preference for the table cloths?

I thought this might be the year I could make it. But out of the whole summer, this is the day of a relative's memorial service.

They'll be at least 4 and maybe 6 of us coming. I will bring a box of hotdogs and rolls with mustard and relish, the other couple are bringing a tossed salad. And if the third couple go they will bring a dessert of some kind.

Default Thanks everyone.

This is great everyone. We will be providing hamburgers, rolls, cheese. It looks like we will have less than 30 people, but even if we are a small group it should be a lovely evening hanging out on the deck, swimming at the private beach and chatting about Market Basket (hahaha).

One thing we are missing is name tags. Anyone have a source for those sticky labels that we can fill out and slap on?

We will not be able to attend this years event.
We made the event in Center Harbor two years ago, it was fantastic. Anyone hemming and hawing...you should go its great. Meeting everyone and seeing the expressions on others faces as they read your 'screen name' name tag and make the connection is fun.
We will be picking the kids up from camp, as we did when we made the last fest. We were very late to the last one and made the trip with a car load of dirty clothes straight from camp(stinky, lol). This time we will swing back home , do the laundry, dunk the kids in the shower, then be up later in the week.
Anyway....everyone have a great time. Please post pics from the party, we are disappointed we won't be there with all of you.

We'll be there Cate and I will be happy to grill if you'd like. Going to be a good day for it.

I'm very disappointed we can't come this year :-(

We had a bunch of unexpected stuff come up, and have to stay on Rattlesnake until much later than we had thought. If you're still going at 9:00, maybe

The events are always fun, and this one sounds like it's going to be good as usual.

Regards, Steve
