Default Kennels in Gilford/West Alton area

Hi All,

New to posting to the forum, but have been lurking for the past 6 months or so since I moved back to New England. Used to vacation at Lake Winnipesaukee as a child.

I'm planning to return to the lake this summer...it seems so far off...and need a recommendation for a kennel in the Gilford/West Alton area. My dog is a handful...possibly a member of that pit bull club...so a kennel with experience with DINOS (Dogs In Need Of Space) would be good.

gillygirl, I just noticed that you are fairly new to posting on the forum and glad you have joined us. Have fun and enjoy the Winni Forum while making many new friends. I'm sure you will get some great advance as to kennels in the Gilford/West Alton area. I can't help as I do not follow those things as we are on the older end of years and do not have pets. We had our share many years ago and yep they were all shepherds, and Golden's. I wish you luck and hope you find what you need so you can enjoy your stays here at the lake.

GG - if you haven't found a kennel yet, give VCA Laconia Animal Hospital in Gilford a try. They are just off Rt. 11A near the Laconia Bypass, and they board dogs. Their website is at http://www.vcahospitals.com/laconia/services, and their phone number is 603-524-0404.

And your animals must be up to date on ALL of their shots including kennel cough or they will not take them. And bring records.

My wife at one time used them, now with 4 dogs, where we go they go.
