Live and Let Live Farm
This is a wonderful organization in Chichester (Near Concord).
Yes, I know Concord is not "The Lakes Region", but my reasoning, (or the way I talked myself into bending the rules), is that this group accepts rescues from all over the state including the Lakes Region They are in desparate need of a few things to keep the organization growing and able to help more horses and abandoned animals. It struck me that we have a lot of folks that may have the ability to donate a needed old pick-up, (doesn't even need to be road worthy, as long as it runs) or maybe an old trailer. Or cash. ) Please take a quick look at their website, read some of the stories, they would welcome any help they can get for such a wonderful cause. They have open house on Sundays, and an event calendar on the website. Thanks, SteveA PS. I did look for a way to contact Don to get his OK, but wasn't sure how to get a P/M to him. I did communicate with a senior member of Winni.com, and that person suggested I post it, and if Don wants to take it down, he will. I'm fine with that if that is his decision. http://www.liveandletlivefarm.org/

It's fine Steve. It sounds like a fine organization. You may have noticed that I allow a little more latitude in the Pets and Wildlife sections. Anyway, Concord is almost in the Lakes Region.
