Default Try Bizer

WWW.BIZER.COM has daily readings from lakeport, a nice graph that's updated several times a month and a link the the USGS real-time measurements.

Was up this weekend. The water is definitely lower than normal for this time of year -- by about a half foot per Bizer.

Default Rain Levels this year, and other information

According to that chart the rainfall this year was less than average. Ugh! I thought all it did was rain this year. Any more and I would have slid into the lake.

Here is last years chart. Personally I find Bizer's easier to read, but this has some fun info.

More graphs for the info starved. http://www.des.state.nh.us/RTi_Home/

And if you are really bored, look up all kinds of permit info http://www.des.state.nh.us/OneStop/

Default Water Level

I noticed today that there was water flowing over the dam from Lake Waukewan, so I guess it isn't too low. When I was little (about 50 -55 years ago)when we came up to the island to close up I used to love walking along the shoreline about 10 cottages and looking for tennis balls from one of the girls' camps, but it hasn't been that low for years. I remember that Brown's taxi boat couldn't land at our dock and had to go next door where the water was deeper. If it was that low now some of the newer developments would not have any water probably.
