NH state park pass - by season or by date?
I'd like to get a NH state park pass, but the state web page is a little vague on defining the period it's valid. (Yes, I can call their office tomorrow, but...figured I'd be impatient and ask here.)
Is the pass good for 1 year from purchase, or for the current season, or...??? The Maine park pass is good for the season, but if you purchase very late in the season, it's good for the following season as well. Given where we are on the calendar, I was hoping the NH park pass worked the same way. Thanks! |

NH State parks
If you are a NH resident 65 and over, you don't need a pass. Entrance to the parks are free. Including free skiing at Cannon!
Wish this was true at Sunapee.

I did the state park plate on my truck, extra $85 a year and it gets your entire carload in for free. Only drawback is we have to take the truck, but we haul all of our stuff in it anyway so it isn't an issue for us.
