What that eagle really wants is a Cheez-it original. Eagle will probably look at it for 5-minutes before giving it a try. Just one nibble, and it be permanently wanting another Cheez-it.
Cheez-it originals; will float Cheez-it originals; can be tossed just like a Frisbee Cheez-it originals; come highly recommended by the Inter-Planetary Association of Ducks, Geese, Crows, and Eagles.

Been up on the lake on the ice all my life, and it hasn't been until the last 5 years or so that I've seen eagles landing and walking on the ice. I have a couple of phone pic of 3 eagles on the ice right next to the water in the Weirs channel about 5 years ago. Since then I've seen it at least once a winter.
Glad to see more eagles in the area!!! |

While parked at the Meredith Town Docks yesterday I saw a big bald eagle circling and then landing not far from a bob house.
Maybe he thought he'd get a hand out. Today while at McD's in Laconia I counted ten mallard ducks sitting in the parking lot shaking down customers for french fries. They have figured out that if they sit in the middle of the travel lane customers will be compelled to toss some fries to the side so their car may pass. Do bald eagles eat ducks? If so, the McD's flock could use some culling. |
