Default Lost New Hampshire Ski Areas

While attepting to find the location of the Swissvale Ski Area, I found this list of defunct ski areas. I was suprised at the large number.

You had the spelling wrong, so here is the link http://www.nelsap.org/nh/suisse.html

The ski hill is still there, but the rope tow is gone and it is now the sledding hill.

Thanks for the correction. Sorry about the spelling. My link was about Lost New Hampshire Ski Areas. I did view the one specific to Swissevale in your link.

I spent some time looking through that website and noticed the old Woodbound Inn slope in Jaffrey (where I learned to ski). My family had 3 generations of family that worked in various roles at the Inn including my grandmother, my father, both aunts and my brother and myself. I went to the link for the Woodbound Inn area and noted a postcard posted there from 1967 with the personal message to the authors parents on the back. The last line of the note mentioned their waitress - Pauline.....Pauline was my grandmother who worked there at that time...pretty cool to see.
