Lightbulb Center Harbor Skatefest: Sunday, Feb 18; 11-4

Center Harbor Skatefest: Sunday, Feb 18; 11-4 ..... like the ad in this website says....

https://www.centerharbornh.org/parks...2018-Skatefest

Seems like the sun, ice surface, weather, outdoor temperature and lack of any wind will all be in perfect alignment for ice skating ..... plus there's some type of crazy snowmobile event or something .... food, hot chocolate, a bonfire, Mr. Ray Charles and the Ray-lette dancers and 27-piece band ... performing on the ice ..... Sunday ..... from 11 to 4.

Ray and his piano will be skating backwards, singing 'God Bless America' and playing piano, all at same time, along with the Ray-lette dancers!

Default Bon fires on ice...

Are memories of my youth. Night skating on a river that snaked through an Audubon Sanctuary giving access to areas not accessible during the rest of the year was fantastic.

No...The fire does not burn through the ice...Heat rises. And the blackberry brandy?

We had bonfires on Mirror Lake when we were kids. ML froze over first so we always skated there first.
