I think most of the snow from yesterday is being blown off th lakes right now.
Very gusty! Reports say gusts in the mid to high 30mph and into the 20’s mph for the rest of the day.
Not a good condition for snowmobiles...

As of last weekend there was NO snow on the ice anywhere, so the little snow we got is not enough to cool the wheels. Bad year for lake snowmobiling, good for ice boating (I'll have to build on for next year)

Default Lake snow

Thanks for all the replies
I guess I'll have to strap on some ice skates
And skate 10 miles to Meredith
I guess a four-wheeler would work good with some ice picks in the tires seeing it doesn't need the snow to cool it
Thanks all

There is wind blown snow across the lake. We probably received 2” of light powdery snow last night. If you have scratchers you would be OK. Between the scratchers and the light snow should be sufficient to lube your runners. Just don’t go crazy....if you don’t have scratchers, I wouldn’t do it...

I was just noticing that as I was checking out the web cams, looks like I'll be taking the quad out this weekend again. More snow expected next week so if that holds that would be nice.

How much did the lake get yesterday?
It turned to rain in the evening down in Manchester, which packed it down.
Weather showed it much cooler in Meredith at the time I checked, was it all snow?
I was going to bring my kids quad to the Derby, it's a little Honda 90. But if it won't be able to get around I might not.

It got a little windy last night so he could probably pick around the drifts!

200 ft above the lake, just outside Sandy Point, 10 - 12 inches. Had some drifting. Only had about 15 minutes of sleet. No crust on the snow. Temps were in the low 20's then down into the teens.

Thanks all, I'll bring and hope for the best.
He's only had it a week, can't keep him off it.
I'll bring the plow for mine, worst case I make a him little race track.
Not looking forward to the slush though...
