Default Laconia zoning board wants a site amendment

Citing the spuds down site of The Dive for noise and blocking the view for residents on nearby Simpson Ave, The Dive could maybe get relocated to the other side of the large Pier building as a way to mitigate the noise and view issues for the neighbors.

It would probably be a better spot for attracting customers to The Dive just because it gets better visibility from the boardwalk and street, up above, if The Dive floating restaurant was moved to the inside of the Winni Pier, between the Mount Washington cruise ship and the Pier.

Isn't that the same spot where the Queen of Winnipesaukee, a 44' sailboat used to dock between making 90-minute sailing cruises out to Timber, Mark, and south Bear Island, and return.

This post here makes the article by Bea Lewis available to readers whether they have a subscription to the Union Leader or not.

Me …… I don't want to buy the newspaper ….. but I want to read this report ….. plus it has a super color photo, too.

Just another example of a land owner thinking he owns the lake.
No issue with the Mt Washington, Winnie Bell or even Bike Week noise.

Their issue is losing their view of the lake

Shame the town of Kaconia is bowing to another small business just trying to make a living
