Default Jon's Roast Beef,Gilford

Early last year I tried jons Roast beef across from Gilford shaws and beside the Sunoco station. We bought 3 large subs and ,if i remember correctly , the 3 were either just this side of $30.00 or just above... they were very dry , bread was not as fresh as it could have been and I never went back.
I heard that someone else has bought it [ apparently ,Jon passed away ] and I tried it last week and ,while I don't want to say bad things about jon , the subs were much improved... I only tried one [ turkey and ham etc ] and I couldn't finish it all ,,,and I can do some damage to a sub ... I will go back again to try it once more before I give it a " thumbs up " but so far , so good !
{after i had ordered my turkey and ham , I noticed that they had Pastrami ...I asked if it was the black pastrami and they said ' No' ....so I will be going back for some RED 'plate " pastrami next time ...

Default MmmmmMmmmMmmmm....

I just love their roast beef sandwiches...a little horseradish sauce, a little "HOTS!"

....but get it "melted"...They heat it enough to melt the cheese and warm the beef but it doesn't overcook the beef.

Stopped there once and had the pastrami....it's steamed NY deli style and served piping hot.....it was awesome....hope they don't change that.
