Default New webcam, great view of Mt. Major

We put a webcam up on our dock the past summer. It's at the opening of Alton bay. You can see Mt. Major across the way. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Default Firefox

Can anyone get the cam to display in Firefox?

Edit: I checked again and it requires Java Runtime which I don't have installed on this box.

Thumbs up Thanks!!!

Thanks for sharing your cam with us!
By chance, are you located near the Peter M. Attwood sloop? I have a pretty good photo that I would love to share with the owners.
I opened it without any trouble using Firefox.

The cam should work fine in firefox. That is my main browser. It is a java applet so if you can't run java then you might have issues. If so just click on the view/save last 11 images. It won't be live but you can at least see some of it.

I plan to work on the site this weekend i'll repost the http refresh one so you don't need to use java.

The scooner that is usually right in front of our cam is the Peter M. Attwood. My uncle built it by hand. If you have a picture to share I would love to see it and will make sure to pass it on to him.

Here are a few quick pics of it.

Talking I'd Like To Mail Him a Print

This is my absolute favorite sailboat on the lake! I hear there is quite a story to go with this sloop too. Hopefully I can talk with your uncle to get it. It would be great for history’s sake.

Thanks for the great pictures. I've heard the story several times, but I'll have to get it written out and post some pictures of the boat and the story on the site.

Sadly you just missed it on the camera, the boat is now docked for the winter.

Rattlesnake Gal: Clear some of our private messages, your full, I can't write back. My response in short, i'd be glad to work on getting some more information and history written up. I'm at work right now but i'll get things started and get back to you soon.

Thanks for all the responses.

The last chance to see the Atwood this winter will be tomorrow. On the Corinthian webcam.

The Corinthian web cam is at http://www.wcyc-nh.com/wcyc-nh_023/clubcampage.html

Keith is stepping the masts at 11 - 1130 and taking the boat out at 1 -1:30.

I'm going to try to get a few shots of it but i'll be at work so i'm not sure how much I will be able to get. Check it out, and hopefully some of you will be able to catch a few pictures of it.

I wonder if there is any chance that this webcam along with the WCYC webcam could be added to the lakelinks list of livecams. For those of us who don't have the good fortune to live at the lake year-round, any additional viewpoints would be most welcome.

I have to say ----

The WCYC webcam is the coolest of all the webcams out there -- it pans the view automaticly !!!!

Rinkerfam: You can find all the lake webcams in one place on Island Girl's Snake Eyes web page. I've also put them all together HERE.

mcdude, thanks for directing me. I wasn't aware of a way to view them all other than the lakelinks link.

jcbanks,

I LOVE that sailboat!
When we have sailed by her in our little sloop I have always admired her.
Sadly we are selling our little sloop. I know this sounds presumptuous but if you ever need crew, give me a holler!
