Default Lake Area Golf Question.

Hi:

Looking for some info on the Kona Mansion Golf Course and Inn.
Has anyone played that course and if you did, what did you think of it?

Tried to find a web site that I could get course and inn info but all I could find was was a web site that I couldn't contact by e-mail.
I have other questions that the site did not have.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Default i've played it

its a short course, just a nice way to spend an hour and a half. I'm a hacker, so its fine for me. the holes are 150-200 yards. if you are an accomplished golfer, this course is just chipping and putting.

My wife and I are avid golfers and if you are looking for good golf on that side of the lake (Moultonboro area), I would recommend the Ridgewood country club in Moultonboro right off rte 109 near rte 25, or Waukewan just of 25 heading towards Plymouth from the end of the bay near Merideth. Going a little farther east from Moultonboro would be Kingswood in Wolfeboro, going north would be Indian Mound in Ossipee, and southwest would be Lochmere in Tilton and Pheasant Ridge in Gilford.

Keep it on the short grass, hit 'em straight, and enjoy.

Default TomC, Upthesaukee:

Thank you for the info!
I was intersted in a small course. Long courses are hard for me and I like the Par 3's that's why I was looking at the Kona Mansion Course.
It seems to be the only Par 3 course in the Lake area.
Unless of course there's another small course that I'm not aware of.
The Kona sounds like a place where my nephew and I and maybe a couple of his freinds could just go out and have fun. We are by no means pros!!
In fact they still call me the Duffa!! People who I've been golfing with say, I need a backho to follow me and fill in where I have taken my last shot!!
They also get tired of making X's on the score card, when we play long courses!!

If you have anymore info on web sites or other par 3's that I could check out, it would help us out with our plan of attach!!

Thanks again!

Post Don't feel bad about your golf, CEP!

My first golfing outing, back during bootcamp when they gave us the weekend off, some friends and I went to a course. Can't remember the name,.. Anyway, the only 3 balls that I hit this day,... as I remember,... The first landed in a sand trap, the second two were my owne,... after I stepped on a broken handled rake, and that broken handle came up and got me right in the chimes.... Mind you, my first turnament, and had to be trucked off the course in a golf kart!

I love watching golf on TV,.... these days!

PS. Up, I can not understand why you haven't taken a photo of the, ("Bushes At Lockmere Country Club") yet!.... I am going to, they are Wonderful!

Love,
T.

Here's another course you can look at in Merideth. Longer than just a "par 3" and shorter than other courses in the area.

Enjoy, whereever you play.
