Default Land Surveyor

Small residential lot in Gilford. Quoted $6000 for a land survey including registered plot plan and marked boundaries. Is this reasonable these days?
Thank you !!!

Is this quote from "Bailey Associates"? If not, you may want to give them a try. I have used them before in the past and found them to be very reasonable and professional...

Good Luck!

Really its price and time - I was just told one surveyor is literally months out from being able to accept work - definite shortage.

I am booked for one coming up through Prospect Mountain Survey in Alton. When I booked they were 10-12 weeks out.

This is to survey/boundary flag a 12 acre parcel.

I used Bailey in the past, he did the work but tried to charge me double what was quoted after the job was complete. I paid the original quoted price and refuse to use him again.

I used Norway plains out of Rochester 2 years ago. Took about 5 or 6 weeks to get done. Quote was same about $5k but money came back as they encountered Less work than expected.

Complete idiots.
The retired Dad that started this company was quite good. The son and daughter took over and there is serious lack of communication.
There are quoted fees then final bill comes in way over.
Time stated went way over as excuses piled up.
Lack of follow up on phone communications. Memory losses.

Skip this one.

They actually arrived and started mine today. I figured I had a few more weeks to wait based on the original time frame given.

I only dealt with the father Bryan, had no idea he wasn’t involved any more. Bryan did a few projects for me and was exceptional…
