Dock Companies
Our small association in Meredith has a wood pipe dock that has seen better times. In the next year or so we plan on replacing it and will begin to get prices. Currently we use Center Harbor Dock for installation/removal and will get a price quote from them. Does anyone have any recomendations for dock companies that they have used in the past or to stay away from? We are also considering an aluminum dock and looking for pros and cons on them if anyone has any.
Thanks - WWT |

Lakes Region Marine Construction
Never had a dock, probably never will lol...But I do know Chris at Lakes Region Marine Construction, honest and dependable. They did the dock work for Meredith town docks, and the board walk behind Church Landing. Doesn't hurt to give them a call to see what they could do for you.

another endorsement for Watermark
be aware, however, that a dock project from this comapny is not cheap...

Just a word about dock decking.I would stay away from aluminum decking. While they are very light and weather very well, the ones I have seen are very noisy. If there will be kids running up and down it,plan for lots of clang, clang, clanging.Maybe there are systems that cushion the decking to stop this problem but do know this can be an issue. My sisters neighbor just put in his aluminum decked dock and the noise from the kids running up and down it is very annoying. Center Harbor Dock did mine. They ingeniously fabricated a custom hinge onto a large rock at my shoreline. The decking is wood and removable and then it cranks up, I'm very satisfied.
