Default Venue for wedding rehearsal dinner

We are looking for a venue that can handle 40 to 50 people for a wedding rehearsal dinner on July 13th. Needs to be within 30 minutes of Meredith.
We have been looking but we haven't had any luck. Thought someone might have an idea?
Thanks in advance.

How about Lake House inside Church Landing in Meredith or I have heard the food at El Faro in the Weirs is excellent? Both large enough for your party and not to start a fire storm "O" can handle it also and I also believe they use the old Italian restaurant in Moultonborough as a catering facility .

They just redid their event venue. Beautiful job! We recently attended an anniversary party there, and had a wonderful time. Call Tim at 279-6661. He will help you with catering options. You won't be disappointed.

"Looking but haven't had any luck"
Does this mean already booked, wrong menu style, not enough space?
What type venue are you looking for? Only restaurants? Your date, a Thursday should be easier than a weekend.
Gunstock does weddings and events and you can get group discounts for the adventure park. You can do a private lounge on the Mount Washington. Rent a tent and hire a caterer.

The wedding is at Church Landing so we are looking for a different venue to have the dinner. The Woodshed was the best option but they cannot accommodate that number of people and due to the fact that we are in the busy season our options are limited. The O Streak House does not do large parties nor does the Canoe.

Default What about this place?

I have never been there or heard anything about it (good or bad). But it looks like a nice place from their website. Anyone ever try it?

Default Winnipesaukee Belle

The Winnipesaukee Belle could probably pick you and your guests up right at the Meredith Town Docks.

Ellacoya Barn & Grille has a beautiful new function area upstairs .....

That would put you just inside your 30 min range

But I agree -- the "Belle" would be a show stopper and I have seen her in Meredith Bay before (not sure if just cruzin or an actual pick up) .... worth a phone call to see

Have you considered other Common Man properties such as Lago or Lakehouse Grille? You could also look at Hart's Turkey Farm or Akwa Marina for different additional options.

Castle in the Clouds?

https://www.castleintheclouds.org/host-an-event/

The Ashland Common Man can accomodate up to 40 http://www.thecman.com/groups-and-special-events/ and gives you a good excuse to limit some of those people you don't really want to invite

Default Tavern 27

On 106 near the Laconia border. Great food and atmosphere!

It's a small world. I agree with the sentiment about Tim and Jill, although I may be biased.

Default Something different

How about the Mount. The Mount was at Wolfeboro last weekend, stayed in port for a shindig for Brewster Academy. Nephew's daughter goes there.
