Default The Bob House

I just did a search on the forum for The Bob House and noted that it was mentioned in 460 other posts but did not have it's own thread.

The lovely Mrs. SteveO and I dropped in this evening and each ordered the "Tackle Box" haddock. Topped with shrimp and scallops scampi style. WOW. Try it. Perfect. Call ahead seating good service and... A great dining experience! Recommended!

I love the haddock at the Bob House. One of the best price to quality meals in the lakes region

The wife's new favorite place in the area and they take plastic, but lets not go there about "charging" on this site.

We stopped in for lunch a few weeks ago and thought the food was very good. My wife had haddock and salad and she loved it. My ruben was excellent too.

Haddock seems to be the meal of choice and is offered all around the lake. Does any know where I might get creamed finnin haddie - It is smoked haddock in a delicate cream sauce.

Second on the Bob House -- it's become our "go-to" place in the area.

On Route 25 just past Moultonborough Neck Road going north. Fine establishment for sure.

Appears a long way to go for dinner. But then in California we often go long distances.

When you live in the "Lakes" area every thing is a long way to go!

I remember when going to Home Depot in Concord on a Saturday afternoon after picking up all of the building materials that were need we would have dinner before heading home.

We really liked the steak tips at the Windmill Restaurant.

We went here tonight. The service was friendly and quick, the food was good but not great. We will give it another shot at some point. Call ahead seating is nice.

One of the best kept secrets for dining in the Gilford/ Laconia are besides The Lions Den is Shusters Tavern on the way to Gunstock. Food is terrific !
