Default Luna Moth

I found this monster resting on my screen this weekend. The wingspan is about 5 inches. It was there for several hours and it was still there when I went to bed. It was gone in the morning. I've never seen one of these before so this was a small treat for me.

They are so beautiful, and fortunately for all of us, they thrive in NH. I saw my first one about 15 years ago, and somehow manage to spot at least two every year now. Thanks for sharing the photo!
