Default Stuck in the slush!

I was out on Robert's Cove today fishing and enjoying the sunny weather high winds and 0 visability at times today. Good time for me! On my way back to shore I went off coarse and found myself and my ATV up to my fenders in 2ft of water and slush. Fortunatly after 20mins. of exhausting digging, pushing, swearing, two gentleman came by on snowmachines and helped me get out of the mess I was in. Thank-you for taking the time to help me out. I really do appreciate the "look out for each-other" attitude that is shared out there on the lake.

Default Going to need it for sure

After tomorrow the long range shows temps in the mid 30's to low 40's going into next month. Believable?
Granted it is long range but at this point I'll take an early summer just to be able to start my outside work and write this terrible winter off and hope it is not a sign of things to come.
Normal snowmobile year for us between 3 and 5Kmiles. This year only about 550 miles.
Heading north next week hoping to ride one more time before giving up and parking them.

It has been an unusual winter. Im flying up Thursday for the weekend and leaving highs of 85+ down here. Yet, yesterday morning it made it down to 30 for a few hours. I'm not ready for another long hot summer!

Default Things have changed

Now if you check the long range the temps have all been reduced and there could be another major storm with possibly a foot and a half of snow for Sunday as well as a predicted stormy pattern for the next 2-3 weeks.

As for summer, I'll take temps in the 70's with rain coming only on the weekends.
What do you expect, I'm a painter
