This afternoon channel 5 in Boston interviewed me about my trip to Antarctica. After it aired on the 6PM news FOX 25 showed up at my house and interviewed me for a spot that will run at 10 PM on 25.

You couldn't wait for ice-in ?

I caught the Channel 5 story and interview this morning (Saturday). When I turned on the TV the sound was down and I saw a familiar face. I wondered why you made the news and I turned the sound up. They were teasing the story about you - coming up right after these commercials. Naturally I stayed tuned in and watched. Very nice piece about your recent exploits Bear Islander. As interviews go, yours was long (which equates to interesting). I haven't seen your exposure on Channel 25 but they often repeat segments too so I'll be watching.

I'll have to come up with a new caption for your picture in the Forum Fest gallery.

Way to go Bear Islander. Don't forget to work Lake Winnipesaukee in to your next interview - maybe wear winnie.com logo shirt or hat (or thong?).

Default Video on Line

The video is on the Fox25 web site this morning. On www.myfoxboston.com

Here is the link to the video. If you cut and paste it will come up. Couldn't tie into the original link for some reason.

Great story. Makes the New Hampshire winters look like spring.

Great stories on both channels. You got 1 min 40 sec on WCVB which is very long for TV. Very glad that you survived the trip. Here is the link to the WCVB video.

Can't wait for the story of your space flight on Virgin Galatic.

Talking Yup

I caught it last night... the tv was on and I was not really paying attention until I saw your mug up there... I screamed... of course with a DVR I was able to rewind and see the whole thing. Your log of the trip to Antartica did not describe the unbelievable danger you were in.

.. and many thanks to you for all that you have done for me.

I did the same thing IG did - half paying attention until I spotted the picture of you in front of the plane (which I had seen on your log)... screamed for my husband, rewound and watched the whole piece. It was great!

glad you made it home safe and sound - looking forward to your next adventure
