Default Last One Of The Year??

Well this isn't the biggest fish but certainly one of the prettiest and possibly the last fish of the season for me. Caught this 22" x 4 1/4 lb. 4 year old male yesterday morning along with three others. I decided to keep this one as he got hook wounded pretty good. It is now in my freezer waiting for Mr & Mrs Slickcraft to pick it up and enjoy for dinner!

This could also be the last fish of the season as well. I do plan on fishing tomorrow if the wind dies down, if not, the season is over for me! It was a good season and I have no complaints only good, no make that GREAT memories!

The fisherman that invited me out last week had said he heard the salmon fishing had "dried up" for the season. By the sounds of your outing that's not the case!
Did you get them deep? Flies or hardware?

You had a good season DT! It's always nice seeing you out there and talking to you on the radio! Good luck bird hunting and good luck in your tree stand!

I was able to get out one more time this morning for a few hours with a close friend and we caught a couple more. It was an absolute beautiful morning to be out as the sun was shining and the wind was light.

Well that's a wrap for me, putting the fishing gear away till next season, Now hoping for lots of snow and ice to enjoy some snowmobiling and hard water fishing!

I also wanted one last evening of fishing on last day. No salmon but a fat 20" RAINBOW TROUT CAME TO MY "Hal's spirit" streamer fly (tied by Alan Nute of A.J.s bait and tackle in Meredith-- our hottest fly of the past two years.) Good luck to all! Hal Lyon 140 east Bear island
