Snow/Rain and Tree Cutting Tomorrow
Hi! I had planned to head to camp in Moultonborough tomorrow to cut some trees down. Can someone let me know if it's mostly rain or snow up there? I'm cool with a little snow, but if it's mostly rain the ground might be too soft/muddy.

Here in Moultonborough we have not had any snow or rain yet. It is about 40 degrees F. I am very pleased with this.

I was just about to post the same question. Can anyone in Meredith report on snow, rain, wind?

In Wolfeboro we had about 1" of snow by morning, then 37° and icy rain all day (still). Should be 40s and dryer tomorrow.

8:16pm in Meredith, temp is 41, wind comes and goes, no rain. It did rain some today but it was not bad. I drove up from MA this morning around 9am and it went from raining like crazy to almost nothing when I got off on 104.

Yesterday, Friday morning at 5:30-am, in Waterville Valley, there was about one inch of heavy wet snow on the very slippery paved roads with temp at 34. Going down long hill on Rt 49, it changed to all rain with black pavement five minutes and four miles later at the WV-Thornton town line.

Here in Moultonborough we did not receive any rain or snow. I feel sorry for those living on the MA coast.

We live off upper Moultonborough Neck Rd. Yesterday, it rained on and off most of the day. Mid morning I went to the transfer station. It was sleeting. We live very close to Greene’s Basin, and WE did receive rain and a rain/sleet mix .
