Having fun is wonderful but I get a bit tired of the “me” generation posting selfies with bad music...”look at meeeeeee”

I love that it took one post to go negative on a "don't be negative, enjoy..." thread.

Default Not Everything

I don't "piss and moan" about everything. I piss and moan about specific things.

Get used to it.

Default Great for the parents

to spend the kids inheritance. When they get old, it's a wake up call!

I feel bad for the boat drivers in that video having to stay sober while their riders drank all that beer. I did see one Dogfish Head Ale in there. Maybe it was a parent.

Is complaining about people "pissing and moaning", actually pissing & moaning itself? Asking for a friend.

Interesting how fickle the form can be. Different original posters and message body/ title. Same video producer (I think) for lack of a better term. Completely different style and set of replies. Both videos appear to have been recorded at about the same time, but presented to the forum at different time periods. Without studying them closely they appear to be the same cast.

Maybe he was just using the same video to demonstrate his point. Trying to give him the benefit of the doubt

Agree. was just trying to point out the difference in replies in what is essentially a very similar styled video by the same video producer (I think).

It's ALL about the context, and the titles of each dictate the responses.

I do not disagree with that at all. Was just trying point out the differences and how just a few words can alter the the direction of a thread when someone has a petty difference of opinion on what they think everyone else should be doing here.

Words to live by from another thread but edited.

They work full time, paid for the boat, repairs, gas, shrink and storage themselves.

Isn't that the American dream? Work hard and enjoy the fruits of your labor with family and friends??

Great point.

Maybe their parents inherited the means from their parents, or maybe the young folks in that fun video earned the means themselves. Maybe it's a group one-week rental they all saved up for, or maybe they are spoiled rotten. Impossible to know, fun to watch though and I enjoyed it.

FWIW, I've always loved it when my kids (who are now in their 20s) brought friends aboard my boats and had fun. I wish they made neat videos to watch.

Ha Ha
Not impossible to know as they're my son's and son's friends & girlfriends.
Wife and I bought the camp, they bought the Four Winns BR.
They even bought the ugly captain's hat!

I couldn't agree more about having them and their friends around....we love it and we're thankful they all want to be there. That's why we have it.

Nothing better or perhaps more important than time spent with family and friends.

What we really need to be focusing on is a 4 year old video of people doing the same thing that everyone else does?

I should have said, "impossible to know just by watching the video"....
