Boat Wax Alternative?
Hi Folks......
Getting ready for Spring cleanup of boat exterior and looking for a wax alternative, prefereably something with a polymor or silicon base. In the past I've used a product called 'Race Glaze', which is a polymor base, but at $18 for a 16oz bottle, a little expensive. Product is also difficult to find, only 1 store in tri-state I know which carries. It is however, an amazing product though, gives a mirror glaze & shine. I also use on cars. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, BD |

Talk to Rick
See Rick at Ship Shape marine works. I've been getting my wax from him and had great results. On the other side if your really happy with a product then price should not be an option. Find it and buy it in bulk.

Mequiar's Flagship Premium wax is a synthetic polymer and it not carnuba based. Has UV protection as well. This is what I use.

Collinite
We have used the Collinite product line for our 1983 sailboat every year. Beautiful results.
